Collection of Eggless Baking Recipes

Collection of Eggless Baking Recipes

I have 2 announcements to make today.

1 I started this blog to consolidate the eggless baking recipes I have collected so far, under one roof.  This will also be a good reference for everybody who wants to bake or cook eggless.  There are so many recipes available throughout the internet, in various cook books and other resources,  I don’t want others to go through the trouble of searching for eggless recipes.  I will be updating the links to various eggless recipes such as eggless cakes, eggless muffins, eggless cookies, eggless breads, eggless buns, eggless bars etc in a separate page (Eggless Baking Recipes, on the top menubar) regularly.  You can also leave your comments about a particular recipe after trying it and so will I.  I’ll be posting my own eggless creations too!

2 I have also created another page named Baking 101 where I will be updating interesting and useful information about baking. See the top menubar as well.

Feel free to drop in regularly, browse the growing collection of eggless baking recipes and ENJOY BAKING!

Hima, Divya, A-kay, Jayasree, Medhaa, Rupa, Sushma, Divya thank you very much for the support. This really motivates me to find lot more recipes and post them here.

Akay, since I’m also new to baking, I’m experimenting with various alternatives. I’ll definitely let you know how the dishes turn out. Recently I read that flax seed meal is a very good substitute for butter/any fat in a baking recipe. I’ll be posting about it very soon in the Baking 101 section.

Medhaa, you got my point exactly. Feel free to share any eggless baking recipes you come across, if it’s not in my list already I’ll be more than happy to include it here.

Really really appreciate this as I am constantly looking out for such recipes. One request – can you also try and let us know what would be a good egg substitute that can be used in these various recipes? Applesauce works in some, flax-seed powder in some and there are a few other natural substitutes too – I am confused as to when to use what substitute. If you can throw some light on this, it will be great!
