Hi Madhu,

I googled and found your website, I've been making black soya bean milk everyday for my hubby and just thought if I could do something with the sieved soya beans.

Also, are there any substitute for rice flour? Could I replace it with brown rice flour? or make the dosa entirely with soya bean instead?

Bavani, I use brown rice instead of white rice while making dosas. It comes out well, so does idlis too. You can't use just soy beans to make dosas. You need some other flour or rice to bind it. I prepare instant dosas with brown rice flour. It comes out good as well. You can try adding the crushed soy beans while grinding for adai.

Love all your healthy dishes Madhu! I can always come here if I want to prepare something healthy... And how did you manage to put the dosa in the square shape? Looks lovely! :)

Thank you very much Priya. Reg. the shape, it's easy only. Simply pour a ladle of batter and spread it to a square.

Hi Madhuram,
Great looking healthy dosas. Rumali dosa sounds an interesting twist to the dosa:)I use soya flour mixed with besan and atta add grated carrot, coconut, chopped cilantro
TC

That's a very interesting recipe Suparna. I've included soy flour to make chapathis but not dosas.

Exactly my sentiments about soy beans. I use it to make milk sometimes but I am generally put off by the smell and the heaviness - looks wise!! Yours looks good - somewhat like adai! I like that - rumali dosa:)

I made sundal once and did not like it at all. But these dosas are great.
