Egg Substitutes

For those who have gone through my experience. Ener-G replacer loses its effectiveness after about a year or so after opening the box. They don't make smaller package. Here is what you can do instead of using Ener-G.
Mix together 1 tsp Baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 2 TBSP flour and 3 TBSP water in place of one egg.. I got this from some web site, don't remember what it was.

Champa, I have also read something similar to this but have not tried it before. I too was wondering about the effectiveness of EnerG.

Hi!
Found this info don't remember which site :
For each egg one of the following maybe substituted:
* 1 tsp baking pwd, 1 tbsp water, 1 tbsp vinegar.
* 1 tsp yeast dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water.
* 1 tbsp apricot puree.
* 1 1/2 tbsp water, 1 1/2 tbsp oil, 1 tsp baking pwd.
Haven't tried all of them just the first option of baking pwd, water & vinegar and that works well.
