Prep time: 05 Mins
Cook time: 05 Mins
Yields: 2 Servings
A very simple and tasty recipe to make a creamy smoothie using raspberries and mangoes.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cup Fresh Or Frozen Raspberries
- 1/2 Cup Fresh Or Frozen Maongo Chunks
- 1/2 Cup Plain Yogurt/Vanilla Yogurt
- 2 Cups Milk
- As Per Your Taste Honey/Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence (If You Are Using Plain Yogurt)
Procedure:
- In a blender add the fruits, yogurt, honey and 1 cup of milk and blend it smooth. If your using fresh fruits you can also add few ice cubes during this stage. I used frozen fruits, so I thawed them at room temperature just for 5 minutes and blended it.
- Now add the remaining milk or as much as required to get the desired consistency.
This also goes to my dear friend Dee’s AFAM – Raspberry event.

Nice click. Cool recipe for the summer.
what a yummy combo! refreshing drink. Nobody in our home likes raspberries, so didn’t prepare anything with it. I may have to miss this event.

who knew that mango and raspberry would work together? glad you tried!
I *love* that first pic!
You sound like a sweet tooth person, does this smoothie even need any honey?
Thanks everybody for your lovely comments. All the pictures in the blog are taken by my husband. I’ll definitely pass the appreciation to him.
Hetal, I have sent you a mail. Check it out.
JZ welcome to my blog. Yes it was nice and creamy, I loved it.
Uma, neither my husband nor my son liked it. So I drank it all. No need to share!
Arundathi, tell me about it. I also was not sure how it would taste, but it was definitely worth trying.
Kaykat, yep I’m a sweet (yes pun intended. see my name itself is madhuram) addict. The frozen mangoes I got in Trader Joes, were not sweet and the raspberries are also tart, so little (lot of honey, actually for me) honey is necessary.
Refreshing smoothie, nice pic as well madhu!!!
Smoothies are the best! So delicious and easy too.
I’ve made smoothies, but never thought of putting vanilla essence into it. Thank you for the recipe. I’m sure it taste really good and quite healthy too.
That is a really nice looking drink. I like the idea of using frozen mangoes, I hate the pureed mangoes you get in Indian stores.
yum! that is a healthy and delicious smoothie…
The pic is really tempting…raspberries seems to be the fruit of this season at eggless cooking…:)
